Lana Naghshineh


Lana M. Naghshineh’s practice focuses exclusively on construction law and litigation. She brings this expertise to J. Muir & Associates, serving Of Counsel for construction matters.

Ms. Naghshineh offers pre-construction contract review and negotiation, including scope of work contracts, financing agreements, sales agreements, and contract administration, ensuring compliance with relevant Florida statutes. She also offers analysis of insurance needs and coverage issues affecting owners, insurers, vendors, and purchasers.

Ms. Naghshineh represents clients in litigation for claims of breach of construction contracts, lien foreclosures, bond and surety claims, and construction defects and deficiencies pursuant to Chapters 558 and 718 of the Florida Statutes, among other claims, as well as post-judgment collections. Ms. Naghshineh works directly with expert witnesses to prosecute claims of liability and damages in construction matters, and assists clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.

An active member of the Dade County Bar Association Construction Law Committee, Ms. Naghshineh organizes and teaches continuing education courses to fellow attorneys and construction industry professionals. In 2015, Ms. Naghshineh received the Model Star/Rising Star Award from the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce for her volunteer and fundraising efforts on behalf of Make-A-Wish and Casa Valentina, and in 2017 she was awarded “Woman of the Year” by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society South Florida.
